Black Wolf Industries Return Policy
Our return policy is designed to protect both our customers and the craftsmanship behind every Black Wolf Industries cutting board and wood product. Below you’ll find clear information on how to request a return, refund, or exchange, along with what qualifies as a non‑returnable item. This policy applies to all handcrafted boards, custom wood goods, and small‑batch products purchased through Black Wolf Industries.
Overview
At Black Wolf Industries, every board and wood product is built with precision, discipline, and pride. If there’s an issue with your order, we’re here to help — but due to the nature of handcrafted wood goods, our return window is intentionally short.
Customers must request a return within 7 days of delivery by emailing matt@blackwolfcabinets.ca.
Requests made after 7 days cannot be accepted.
All returns must be approved in writing before any item is shipped back to us.
To qualify for a return, the item must be:
- unused
- unwashed
- uninstalled
- free of knife marks, stains, or moisture exposure
- in the same condition you received it
- in all original packaging
- Note: Natural variations in wood grain, color, and pattern are not considered defects.

Refunds
Once your return is approved and the item is received, we’ll inspect it and notify you by email. If the return meets our criteria, a refund will be issued to your original payment method. Processing times vary depending on your bank or credit card provider.
Exchanges
We only replace items if they are defective or damaged. If you need to exchange it for the same item, send us an email at matt@blackwolfcabinets.ca within 7 days of delivery.
Gifts
If the item was marked as a gift when purchased and shipped directly to you, you’ll receive a gift credit for the value of your return. Once the returned item is received, a gift certificate will be mailed to you.
If the item wasn’t marked as a gift when purchased, or the gift giver had the order shipped to themselves to give to you later, we will send a refund to the gift giver and they will find out about your return.
Shipping returns
If your return request is approved, a shipping address will be provided via email.
Please do not ship any items until you receive written approval and instructions from Black Wolf Industries.
Customers are responsible for return shipping costs. Shipping fees are non‑refundable. If a refund is issued, the cost of return shipping will be deducted from the refund amount.
For higher‑value items, we recommend using a trackable shipping service or purchasing shipping insurance. We cannot guarantee that we will receive your returned item.
